RMG Honored for State-of-the-Art Retail Digital Banking Experience

This year's APEX Award finalists were chosen by an independent panel of industry professionals, with entrants from nine major digital signage categories. RMG Networks was one of 23 finalists in the retail category, honored for the design and delivery of a state-of-the-art digital marketing experience developed for Virgin Money in conjunction with their long established key partner BT.
RMG Networks was appointed as Virgin Money's digital strategy partner with a primary goal in mind: to create an exclusive, yet relaxing environment for their customers to be immersed in advanced technology, exuding the Virgin Money brand. By integrating their advanced digital solutions, RMG provided a new banking "lounge" experience for customers, creating an environment for local communities in the heart of London.
RMG leveraged their enterprise platform (also used in Virgin Money's call centers and service desks) to power new display endpoints into the lounges. At the front door, the experience begins with a life-sized augmented-reality of Sir Richard Branson enticing customers into the lounge. Other innovative endpoints include a holographic fish tank to bring ambience to the experience, an interactive screen to engage consumers with products and services, and a 4k cinema built into the fuselage of an aeroplane with an ultra-high-definition video wall to provide aeroplane 'windows' for customers to watch the clouds and aeroplanes fly by.
